Susie Schenk completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in both Clinical Counseling and Organizational Behavior. She spent the next 15 years in direct service as a counselor in community mental health. Through this work she had the opportunity to help individuals as well as lead her team of clinicians. Learning both as an observer and a member of the workforce, she realized the need to apply the tenets of psychology to the culture of the office. She completed her MBA and then founded Schenk Insight, LLC for the purpose of improving her own work-life balance while working to improve the work environment for others. She understands the value in taking care of the team you have and the difference it makes when employers genuinely value their team. It really does matter WHO does the work, not just that it gets done.
